Victoria has announced its nomination criteria for subclass 190 and 491 visas. New process from Victoria for selecting applicant for 190 / 491 nomination will focus on talent and contribution to Victoria’s economic recovery amid this Corona Pandemic.
Victoria will only accept ROIs lodged within the submission windows below, and ROIs submitted during the interim program (September 2020). Invitations to apply for Victorian skilled visa nomination are made on each selection day.
The Migration program is designed to achieve a range of economic and social outcomes. The program is set annually, with the total places available capped at a ceiling of 160,000 for 2020-21. Numbers have gone down for skilled visas but there has been huge increase in family stream visas for Australia including Partner visa for Australia, Global talent visa for Australia and Business Visas for Australia.
