Victoria has announced eligibility for 190 Nomination and 491 Nomination for Victoria

2020-2021 Skilled Nomination Program for Victoria will be opening from 10:00AM on 05th Jan 2021 for subclass 190 and subclass 491 visa for Australia.

New process from Victoria for selecting applicant for 190 / 491 nomination will focus on talent and contribution to Victoria’s economic recovery amid this Corona Pandemic.

Victoria will only accept ROIs lodged within the submission windows below, and ROIs submitted during the interim program (September 2020). Invitations to apply for Victorian skilled visa nomination are made on each selection day. If you are not selected immediately after your submission window, your ROI will still be considered on future selection days.

Selection to apply for Victorian visa nomination (subclass 491)

To be eligible to be considered for selection to apply for subclass 491 Victorian visa nomination, you must:

  1. already be living in regional Victoria
  2. already be working in regional Victoria (minimum 3 months employment)
  3. work in a highly skilled occupation in health, medical research, life sciences, agri-food or digital sectors which supports Victoria’s economic recovery or health response.

Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa

The Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa is a permanent residence visa for professionals already living and working in Victoria with skills that support Victoria’s economic recovery or health response.

Selection to apply for Victorian visa nomination (subclass 190)

To be eligible to be considered for selection to apply for subclass 190 Victorian visa nomination, you must:

  1. already be living in Victoria
  2. already be working in Victoria (minimum 6 months employment)
  3. work in a highly skilled occupation in health, medical research or life sciences which supports Victoria’s economic recovery or health response.

How do I submit a Registration of Interest for Victorian Visa Nomination?

  1. Make or update an Expression of Interest on the Department of Home Affairs’ SkillSelect system. You must have updated or made your Expression of Interest on or after 1 September 2020.
